7.x: My old project does not compiled in the new version of EurekaLog
Posted by Aleksandr Alekseev on 17 July 2012 09:17

Problem:

I upgraded to the new version of EurekaLog and now my old project can not be compiled (there are multiply compilation errors).

Reason:

Two major versions of EurekaLog may contain breaking changes.

Solution:

  1. Delete old .dcu/.obj/.hpp files of your project.
  2. Study changes in the new version of EurekaLog.
  3. Read through upgrade guide or check the reference.
  4. (EurekaLog 7 only) Enable "EurekaLog 6 compatibility mode".
  5. Make sure that you have the correct version of EurekaLog activated in your IDE.
  6. Make sure that your project doesn't have conflicted search paths set.
  7. Make a full rebuild of your project (not just compile).
